With so many great books now available for download on the Internet it makes sense to have a decent reader to help you browse through them. CoolRead is equipped with a bounty of tools which help you completely customize your reading environment. We love the fact that there are so many different viewing modes and particularly like the Latern Slide Mode for highlighting the area of text as you're reading.

There are also plenty of options for editing pages, such as copying, pasting and deletion. Unfortunately though, the organization of these various tools and options leaves a lot to be desired. The icons arranged around the crude interface are not branded in a very clear manner. Another annoyance is the grating background music that really puts you off what your reading. This can be switched off, but like many of the options, you must restart the program in order for the change to take effect. Having said this, once you've mastered your way around the interface and set things up to your liking CoolRead quite a good way to enjoy your eBooks.
